About We Code Things

We build software we believe should exist.

We Code Things, LLC is a Nevada software company that creates and operates focused products around real problems.

Origin story

One coaching problem revealed a broader product model.

Coach Joel's Way came first. It grew from real coaching and team-management needs: understand the people doing the work, identify recurring friction, and build software that makes the responsibility easier.

TravelTourney is the next released product: a website for finding youth baseball and softball tournaments nationwide.

As the product matured, shared technical foundations created opportunities for additional products. We Code Things became the umbrella company for that broader strategy—inside youth sports today and in other categories over time.

How we think

Practical principles for durable products.

The company values focus, clarity, and strong foundations more than feature volume or novelty for its own sake.

01

Solve real problems

Start with recurring friction that matters to the people experiencing it.

02

Keep products focused

Give each product a clear audience, purpose, and identity.

03

Simplify the complicated

Make difficult workflows easier to understand and act on.

04

Reuse strong foundations

Share engineering where it reduces repeated work and improves quality.

05

Respect product identity

Shared ownership does not require identical brands or workflows.

06

Build for usefulness

Favor long-term value over an ever-expanding list of features.
